  • Initially, check the control panel settings. If you have a problem with the settings, use the printer control panel and reset them. Here's how to do it.
  • On the printer control panel, press the left or right arrow button and then select Setup.
  • Navigate to Restore Default Settings and then press OK.

You'll see three options appearing on the screen. They are:

  • Wi-Fi Settings
  • All except Wi-Fi
  • All Settings
  • Select one of the available options to reset the settings using the control panel.
  • If you have a problem related to poor print quality, refer to the steps given below. In these steps, you have to replace the ink cartridge for better results.
  • Initially, lift the scanner unit.
  • Take out the empty ink cartridges and unwrap the new ink cartridge.
  • Remove all the protective tapes from it. Insert it into the respective cartridge holder.
  • Lower the scanner unit.
  • Resume the printing work. The problem will be resolved now.

If the printer is offline, refer to the steps given below to bring it back to the online state.

  • On your Windows computer, go to Control Panel.
  • Select the Hardware and Sounds option and then choose the Devices and Printers section.
  • In that section, locate and right-click the printer icon and then select See what's printing. Click the Printer menu. Check if the Use Printer Offline option is unchecked. If it is selected, deselect it.

Additionally, set the printer as the default machine on your computer.

  • On your Windows computer, go to Control Panel.
  • Select Hardware and Sounds and then navigate to Devices and Printers.
  • In that section, locate and right-click the printer icon.
  • Select the Set as default printer option.
  • By deleting the print jobs, you'll avoid the printer problem.
  • On your Windows computer, go to Control Panel.
  • Choose Hardware and Sounds and then select Devices and Printers.
  • Select the See what's printing option. Now, click the Printer menu.
  • Choose Cancel All Documents.
  • Now, your printer should return to the online status.
