Steps to fix the Epson WF 2530 printing problems

Paper jam

It is one of the common problems that stop your printing and productivity. Follow the below provided steps to fix the problem of paper jamming.

  • If your Epson WF 2530 printer is turned on, turn off the machine.
  • Wait for a few minutes until the device cools down.
  • Once it is done, open the scanner lid.
  • Remove the jammed paper from the machine carefully.
  • Once removed, close the scanner lid.
  • Turn on the Epson WF 2530 printer and make sure that it prints normally without further paper jamming.

Cancel the documents

If lots of print jobs are in the queue, a paper jam will occur. Try to cancel all the print jobs and make sure that the problem gets fixed.

  • Make sure that your Epson WF 2530 printer is connected to your Windows computer.
  • Click Start and choose the Control Panel option.
  • Select the Devices and Printers option.
  • Right-click on the Epson WF 2530 printer and choose See what’s printing.
  • On the following screen, click on the Printer Tab and choose the Cancel All Documents option.

Clean the print head

  • Press the Menu button on the Epson WF 2530 printer control panel.
  • Choose the Maintenance option and press the OK button on the printer control panel.
  • Your printer screen will show the ink levels.
  • Press OK and use the arrow keys to select the Head Cleaning Option. Now, press the Start Color button on the control panel to begin the cleaning process.
  • Wait until the cleaning process gets completed.
  • Make sure that the LED light beside the ON button flashes and stays solid green.
  • Now, press 2 to run a nozzle check and ensure that the print head is clean.
